WLDA is a Glasgow-based landscape architecture consultancy specialising in cost effective sustainable landscape design for commercial and residential developments and the provision of concise and robust Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.
Ross is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute and also has additional qualifications in ecology and land management. He has ten years experience of a wide range of landscape design, management and assessment projects.
For several years Ross has specialised in Landscape, Townscape and Visual Assessment and has experience of assessment of a wide range of development types including residential developments, hydro power schemes, onshore and offshore wind farms, urban regeneration projects and strategic assessments.
In addition Ross has undertaken the masterplanning and landscape design for many corporate, infrastructure, commercial and residential developments. Prior to qualifying as a Landscape Architect Ross practiced as an ecologist and land manager, the experience of which he brings to his landscape design. He has undertaken ecological design, habitat creation, habitat restoration and management planning for a range of projects.
Ross also undertakes viewpoint and visual assessment photography for the preparation of photomontages and illustrations for a range of proposed developments.
